Millennium Access Control Systems

Updated: Feb 27

Millennium access control systems keep people and assets safe by creating a barrier between them and outside threats. They offer a range of options to fit the needs of any company size and type.

The Ultra system maximizes flexibility and accessibility through a comprehensive feature set and an easy-to-use dashboard. It offers complete remote management, automatic updates, and seamless integrations for any business environment.

Keyless Entry

The Millenium Access Controls System eliminates the need for physical keys and offers a variety of keyless entry options. It’s proven to work in hundreds of jail systems, reducing contact between staff and violent inmates.

Enhanced safety: Families can avoid the risks of hiding spare keys, easily found and accessed by burglars. Instead, tenants can use their mobile devices to unlock the door with a temporary PIN, which can be quickly and securely revoked in case of a security concern or breach.

The EDCDs (or Site Control Devices) communicate with the Millennium Software using a twisted pair, multi-drop RS-485 polling scheme. Each EDCD contains two programmable single-pole, Form C relays rated for ten amps @ 24 VDC. Each EDCD also stores 2,000 transactions of card activity and 100 software-selectable priority events.

Integrated Photo Badging

Integrated photo ID badging allows your organization to keep tabs on employees’ whereabouts, improve employee security, and boost customer relations by helping clients quickly identify staff members with the authority to assist them. This can be a powerful addition to any Millenium access control system in Miami, FL.

Unlike traditional systems that require multiple separate boards, Gineas offers one board that integrates with readers, controllers, door locks, and more. This simplifies installation, lowers cost, and reduces maintenance.

Its graphical user interface uses a Microsoft ribbon, allowing users to easily collaborate across locations to design custom layouts, adjust person records, and capture photos. It also supports single-technology access cards and smart card technology, fully integrated with Cansec First Access Advanced software. It includes a high-speed dye sublimation thermal printer/encoder that can print hundreds of cards in one shift, reducing costs and waste. The system also provides a range of other features, including a robust filtered DC power supply, a key lockout, and more.

Access Control Software

Millennium access control Ultra is pre-engineered and configured, eliminating the need for server hardware and complex installation, allowing facilities to be up and running quickly. This system features a pre-programmed Enterprise Class Access Control solution capable of managing up to 32 doors. It provides an integrated map feature that presents door status, input status, alarms, and cameras on a simple floor plan display.

When a user approaches an Millenium access control point, the access system reads their credentials (a card or fob) or biometric data. If the certificates or biometrics match those stored in the access system, it grants them entry and records their activity. If they do not, it denies them entry and may notify security personnel or other users of the issue.

The system also allows for easy schedule management and applying alternate schedules outside of typical programmed hours and holidays. This gives the flexibility to grant temporary access for events, visiting professionals, etc.

Mobile Connect

Mobile users can authenticate to enter buildings and unlock doors using a digital device that never leaves their side. By providing a more convenient and secure way to do this, operators can increase customer satisfaction while opening up new opportunities.

Millennium access controls Ultra software includes a map feature that uses floor plans and representative device icons to present information in an easy-to-read visual format. This can incorporate door status, input status, and alarms to help operators quickly view system operations. Additionally, the independent schedule feature enables a single or repetitive alternative schedule to be applied to a group of doors without impacting existing application door schedules.

A pre-engineered, pre-configured Millennium access controls Tellus system offers a cost-effective enterprise-class access control entry point. This single-door solution enables a direct migration to the fully featured Millennium Ultra system as the site needs to expand. The system can be installed on-premises, or a wireless option is available to minimize installation and ongoing costs.
